Quick Fire Debate Cards

Running out of time to prepare the next class? Relax and simply follow the procedure for this quick and easy debate class.

Procedure

  1. Print this page out and cut out the debate topics into small card.
  2. Distribute the cards to each of the students and all them time to read and think of idea for their topic.
  3. Pair students up an give them 10 minutes to discuss each of the topics on their cards.
  4. Mix students again until all students have spoken to each other
  5. As a class vote on the most controversial topic and then as a class discuss ideas the students have

Be sure to write up incidental vocab and grammar that they need. Happy debating!
